our Candy-crafting process
High quality Glucose and Sugar are mixed together with water – stirred thoroughly before our lolliologists put the mixture to boil. During this time, they keep a close watch on the mixture and ensure that any impurities are removed and scooped away to ensure that the candy mixture stays pure and clear. Our natural fruit and floral flavours are also added during this stage, to ensure the best tasting candy!

Pouring the Candy Mixture onto the Cooling Table
Once the candy mixtures hits the correct temperature, our lolliologists pour the candy mixture onto the cooling table to cool it down, in preparation for the folding and kneading that will come after.
Our lolliologists stirs in the natural colours and watch them sizzle away on the very hot candy mixture. Once the candy mixture cools to about 110 degrees Celsius or so, our lolliologists begin to separate the candy mixture into different portions and colours in preparation for the crafting

Each design and letter is carefully shaped and stacked onto each other to make sure that the final design comes out exactly the way we envisioned the candy to look like
This is the hardest part because we need to keep the candy warm and soft even as we craft the designs. Otherwise, the candy gets hard and breaks before we can work on it.
The candy is then placed onto our candy hook, and pulled over 100 times by our lolliologists !! This makes sure that the candy is aerated and mixed with the air to give it that crunchy texture which you love and enjoy!

The other pieces of candy dough are separated, kneaded to give us the colours required for the final candy masterpiece
